How Sport can Break the Glass Ceiling
One of our sports-loving female managers found and shared this article with the team the other day. So, now we’d like to share it with everyone else. The headline was pretty inspiring. Also, with the explosion in girls playing sports in the past 2-3 years we may have something to look forward to. As a result, we hope this bodes well for a big increase in the number of women in senior executive positions and on boards in the coming years.
We had an internal debate about a couple of Tiffany’s take-outs. Most importantly, some of the team felt learning to lose could have got a little more emphasis. On the whole however, we reckon this is a pretty powerful message (for boys almost as much as girls). And given the number of Professional Sporting clubs and Associations we have as clients, its also a timely reminder for them. Remember just how big a role sports can play in shaping young people’s future success.
